World Series Favorites Swept

Filed under: Uncategorized — Kyle Sielaff @ 9:22 pm

Leading up to Opening Day the Boston Red Sox were the chatter around Major League Baseball. Most have picked them as their favorites to win this years World Series with what appears to be a dominant roster all around. But the Red Sox have encountered their first hiccup of the early season and are still seeking their first win after being swept by the reigning American League champion Texas Rangers on Opening Weekend.

The starting pitching and bullpen has faulted the Sox out of the gate, and the Boston papers are sure to take their licks at the winless Red Sox, but no need to worry, we’re only three games in with 159 more to go, and when the pitching settles in they are sure still to be the team to beat.
