Former UM Great Santana Moss To Hit Free Agency

Former Miami Hurricane receiver Santana Moss will be a free agent next year after his contract voids in just a few days. Moss is a hometown hero, growing up in Carol City and attending Carol City High School. Then coming to the University of Miami on a track scholarship. Moss blew up at UM breaking Michael Irvin’s record for receiving years and winning a national championship, which got him selected in the first round of the NFL Draft in 2001.

Here are some possible destinations for Moss next year…

Miami Dolphins – Could certainly use some more fire power on offense and Moss would be a proven veteran in a group of young WR’s.

St. Louis Rams – A deep threat for Bradford would be great for the Rams since Donnie Avery can’t stay healthy.

Baltimore Ravens – Derrick Mason isn’t getting any younger and may retire. Besides Anquan Boldin the WR core is pretty unproven.

Oakland Raiders – They are always in for a WR that can run

Washington Redskins – Moss might end up staying put if they can work out a new and much cheaper contract for him.
