‘If you are what you say you are’

The blurry photo to the left shows Paul Pierce before Friday’s night nail-biter between the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics.

In case you’ve been busy catching up on “Lost” or “Glee,” Pierce made a two-point jumper over Dorell Wright’s outstretched arm at the buzzer to give Boston a 100-98 victory and 3-0 series advantage.

On Sunday afternoon, Dwyane Wade took over the game with 46 points, 30 in the second half, as Miami erased a six-point deficit in the fourth quarter to keep its season alive.

With the 101-92 win, the series heads back to Massachusetts on Tuesday night.

And in case you were too busy watching King Lebron James record a triple-double to beat the Chicago Bulls, check out Wade’s amazing dunk over Kevin Garnett during today’s game.

As Lupe Fiasco said in his song “Superstar”:

“If you are what you say you are, a superstar/Then have no fear, the cameras here”

Looks as though the NBA’s top players received the memo and brought their A games to the playoffs.
