Meyer telling the media what to do

Have you guys seen this?

As if certain members of the college football nation needed any more reason to hate him, Urban Meyer defended Florida wide receiver Deonte Thompson after Jeremy Fowler of the Orlando Sentinel posted the following quote in his blog:

“You never know with Tim [Tebow],” Thompson said. “You can bolt, you think he’s running but he’ll come up and pass it to you. You just have to be ready at all times. With [John] Brantley, everything’s with rhythm, time. You know what I mean, a real quarterback.”

When he caught sight of Fowler and subsequently issued his threat, I’m sure Meyer’s doctors weren’t too happy. How about that time “off,” huh?
