Canes hold off Knights for 4-3 victory

Sophomore Ignacio Taboada scored the deciding point in No. 31 Miami 4-3 victory over Central Florida Sunday afternoon at Moore Park in Miami.

The Hurricanes (4-2) have won three straight matches and held off a late Knight (3-2) rally. Miami took the doubles point and three of the six singles matches.

Taboada lost the first set and came back for a 6-7 (7-4), 6-2, 6-3 win in the fifth spot to improve his record to 6-1 on the season.

Miami hosts South Florida (3-5) Sunday at noon at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.
