Donte Stallworth

Alright so after committing the minor crime of driving drunk and killing a man Stallworth had to pay. He was put in jail for almost a month and paid some settlement to the family of the man he killed, what a tough life being famous. The NFL suspended him for a year which just ended and he has now been cut by the Browns making him a free agent.

It is ludicrous to think that he could be back in the NFL soon after killing another human being! Yes he served his ridiculously short time but the notion that he learned his lesson is unfounded. I’m sure he wouldn’t tell Roger Goodell that it was a great life decision and he would do it again in a heartbeat.  I liked him as a player and always though he was underrated, but if he gets signed I will be outraged. Luckily I’m sure what will matter is if he still has his speed not this incident. Worst case scenario he can talk to Tony Dungy right?
