Eye of the Hurricane

I am a huge fan of obscure players, regardless of the sport. My reason for enjoying them ranges wildly from player to player. For instance, Kory Sperry of the Dolphins caught his first touchdown pass in a game I was attending. I like Matt Carroll because he essentially embodies the type of basketball player I am, plus he sort of looks like me, which I cannot say for most of the NBA. And I like Oscar Gamble because he has cool hair.

I guess the point I’m trying to make is that the random guys that nobody would ever give much thought about are always worth paying attention to, because you never know when they might come out and do something big. And then everyone will want a piece of them, and you’ll already have a leg up because you were a fan when they were still just an unknown. It might be rough sharing them with the world, but sometimes it just has to happen.

Or maybe I just like discussing obscure players and linking to cool pictures and plays. That works too.
