nytimes visit

Filed under: Uncategorized — rsolange @ 12:22 am

So I went by the New York Times today to visit some of the people I met while on my mini-internship back in January.  Turns out, I had just missed the buzz – reporters had just broken the news about Eliot Spitzer and his involvement in the prostitution ring and apparently, everyone in the newsroom was excited about the breaking of the story (hanging around the tv sets to see how long it would get up on the breaking news, clapping, etc.).  Check it out here. ..http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/11/nyregion/11spitzer.html?hp

It was good to be in that environment, I guess is what I am saying!

  1. There is nothing quite as exciting as a newsroom after it breaks a huge story. The buzz is palpable.
